How to delete a song

Hi I have a incredible 2, does anyone know how to delete a song? I have long pressed on the song, all that pops up is play, add to playlist and details. I know how to delete an artist name, but I don't want to do this, I just want to delete a few songs. Any help???? Thanks so much.

are you talking about deleteing song from device & sd card or playlist? if you are talking about from the device, click on the music symbol which takes you to the 'all songs' list. long press on the song, you will get a popup that has a delete option. when you click delete, you get another popup asking if you want the song to be permanently deleted from the sd card. click ok, song is gone. hope this answers your question.
