Wouldnt it be faster to use Mass Storage option to transfer file, the speed is better? Ive tried both and Syn wanted almost a hour to tranfer a 1 Gig video where Mass Storage option did it in 14 minutes.

I tried and it didnt work. Does it transfer the DRM ? The properties in the video file reads that it can be syynced once and can not be burned.
Can't really say, I usually filtered mine down to device resolution to save space, I just bought the Ironman 2 with digital copy and after searching google was able to get an app that resized file down to 500 megs verse the 1.2 Gig for me with pretty high quality.

DVD Catalyst 3 has done good for me... Check here: http://www.tools4movies.com/, simply use the Motorola Droid settings because Droid X isnt listed in device list, they are the same resolution so videos fit perfectly. Do to the video codac compression, sometimes the stock player cant play videos smoothly, if this happens check ot Meridian Media Player at http://www.androidtapp.com/meridian-player/ or on market, its a better player anyway, there is a free version and a 2.99 full version that adds widgets.

Copying digital copy to my pc works fine. when copying to my droid x it says all files copied. Droid says license expired and when I try to play movie on my phone it says file cannot be displayed. Is this because the digital copy is not a mp4. do I need dvd catalyst or something?

I am assuming you must be working with a iPhone M4V file and the process to filter those are way more of pain and isnt easy, the best thing to do is to use a app like DVD Catylst to convert your own Mp4 video copy.
