Hi All,

I have the Dinc 2, When I open a photo attachment from an email, my options are V Cast Videos, Share, Set as, and Details. Does anyone know how to "Save" the photo to the phone?

Thank you!

Try installing this application and then try and save the photo.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Hi Ann154,

Thank you so much for the information! I downloaded the app, but it still did not present a option to download or save attachements (in this case, photos) to the SD card for Mail, but presented an addtional option in GMail. However, I did find a resolution to my problem!

When I purchased my Dinc 2 on Saturday, I set up "Mail" by selecting "New Account", then selecting "Yahoo" from the options. This appeared to work, but what I noticed is that I could NOT send emails, only receive them, and my Sent folder was empty. I corrected this problem by deleting the account and re-creating it by selecting the "Other (POP3/IMAP)" option, and manually entering the incoming and outgoing server information (this was the problem) that I found on an old post. This fixed the outgoing mail problem, but then removed the option to download attachements in Mail.

To resolve the problem, I deleted the account, and recreated it by selecting the "Other (POP3/IMAP)" option, adding my Yahoo ID and Password, then letting the Android fill in the rest. Now I can send and receive my email (and see all my Sent email!), AND I now have the option to download attachements!!!!!!

Thank you so much for your response, it really made me think about what was happening behind the scenes!

In case anyone needs it, this is the OLD POP3/IMAP information from the old post:

Incoming Server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com

Use SSL

Port: 995

Outgoing Server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Use SSL

Port: 465

This is the CORRECT POP3/IMAP information. It automatically prefilled on my phone when I DID NOT choose Manual:

Incoming Server: android.imap.mail.yahoo.com

Use SSL

Port: 995

Outgoing Server: android.smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Use SSL

Port: 465

Hope this helps others,
