I lost my Droid X and can't afford to buy a new one. Does anyone know of the best way to get a used or refurbished Droid X for under $100.00?

There are places like Ebay (where I saw Droid Xs going for around $300) and Craigslist, which is a shaky place to do business of any kind.

Phone insurance is the only chance you have of getting a Droid X for under $100. Even phones with a Bad ESN run $200-300. And there is entirely NO WAY VZW will allow you to reactivate them until the original account balance + $350 termination fee is paid.

As a last ditch effort, you can try to recover your phone.
This may work only under the following conditions: Your battery is still good, the phone is on, and has some kind of network connetion.
Go to the web-based version of the Android Market.
Find Lookout Plan B and tell the Android Market to install it on your phone.
The program is supposed to be able to help you locate your phone after it's lost. I've never used it, so I can't guarantee success. But at least it's worth a try.
Best of luck,
Mike
