I have tried getting people to text me, and none of the texts they sent me had gone through. If anyone could help, i'd be greatly appreciative.

ExoticBear, I know how it feels to not have the ability to text. I use my text for 85% of my communication and I think it’s important for my customers to have this functionality working properly. After review of your issue within our database, I was unable to locate this as a known issue. I first have a few questions before providing you with a resolution. Were you able to resolve this issue with your text messaging as of today? Please let the community know if your now able to text and how. If you have not resolved this issue, are you able to send text out from your phone? Are you having issues with one contact or with everything who sends you a text? I listed some suggestions below that may help you.
The first suggestion is to contact customer and ensure your text/picture messaging isn't blocked. I also suggest signing in to your online account via My Verizon to check your features. By checking your features online, you can ensure your text/picture messaging isn’t blocked. You can unblock them via your My Verizon online account and via customer service on the phone.
The second suggestion is to power cycle your phone for 1-2 minutes. A soft reset can often resolve minor issues and may help with your text messaging issue.
The third suggestion is to ensure you have sufficient memory available to save, receive, and send messaging to/from your phone. I will list steps below to clear your cache and data history.
