I was able to receive regular desktop web site pages or settings on my Droid Incredible rather than " mobile". Aside form the screen size, there's not a whole lot I'm liking on my one day old new DX2. Should I send it back?
I've checked my browser settings - I've changed it from google to MSN.
What can I do?

Well, to your last point, all you've done is change your home page. You haven't changed any browser settings.
Some other folks may be able to tell you how to change the browser settings to request the full version of a site (BTW, you need to specify which browser you are using). I'm using XScope, which I keep going back to after I've tried all of the others. I haven't looked for any settings to specify which version of a website I want, but if I find a website that I need the full version, I can usually find a choice of which version I want at the bottom of the page. This forum is a good example. At the bottom of the page, you'll find 2 links, a full version and a mobile version.
I realize that this probably isn't the elegant solution that should be available, but it works for me.

Mostly all browsers have the full version option if you scroll to bottom of page and you should see "Mobile" and "Full"

Wildman, let me get this correct in my mind...
Are the choices a function of the webpage being displayed or the browser that is displaying the page?
Thanx, Geri O

The Incredible has a setting in the browser to change to desktop mode, the X does not. You can change the default browser on the X to use desktop mode but the setting doesn't stay after the browser closes. You'll be better off using a 3rd party browser which will keep the setting. I've tried xscope, miren, skyfire, Firefox, but I'm staying with Dolphin.
