I love my Droid but........

I have had nothing but problems with it.  I am on my fourth or 5th droid, I have lost count.  I was actually told that they would replace my Droid x with a brand new Droid x2 but it was a pre cert.  And I have more issues with this one than all the other ones combined.

1. I can't get my camer to turn on at times.  It says camera unable to ______.  I don't remember what it is.

2. The screen freezes up, not just on the texting screen but it does it there too. I can't even turn it off so I have to pull the battery and that is at least twice a day.

3. It turns off during phone calls.  I have to push the power on button to start it up again.

4. The back is loose and moves around.

5. The little screen that says my charger is unplugged comes on even though my phone is sitting on a flat surface.  It comes on about every 10 seconds.

6. Then there is the issue with the screen freezing then going back to the message when I am texting.  That is the most frustrating thing ever.  I shouldn't have to go and clear the cache all the time.

And there are other small things but I am so tired of calling and having to start from the beginning with every problem.  And I don't have the time to keep calling.

Does anyone know what I can do for these problems?  Hopefully there is a quick permanent fix for all of them.

#1,2,3 and 6 sounds like you they could be the same problem, you could have a stray app causing your issues because most of the issues you reported could be app related...  Do you install all your apps on the new device as soon as you get it because if you do and it is a app you are going to see the same issue on diffrent devices.

4. The back is loose and moves around.

#4 issue with button may be design because the buttons are a bit loose on some devices...  If it seems like a major issue I would have a tech at the store check it out..

#5 sounds like you may want to make sure you are using the correct charger because some do not fit as snug as others.

Wildman, I agree with most of what you said, especially the first three. However, I am confused on this one. What button?  My back, or battery cover if you will, just slides down and comes off. I have no button. I believe that either the four hooks that fit into the four slots are slightly bent, or the slots are too long allowing the hooks to move up and down freely. However, I do agree with you when you say that a tech should check it out.

I have the problem in the past of the loose battery door. I took a pair of pliers and gently squeezed the lil hooks down. A put a small towel on the back of the door so as not to mar it.
