Ok... am I the only one that ordered the incredible, got it, loved it and then a few weeks later saw the Droid X and started to go Hmmmmm...  Did I make the right choice??? I am reaching my month mark having my incredible "did I mention I LOVE my phone...lol" and am thinking about switching to the "X" more because of the hype I think than anything else. I am looking for "X" haters to talk me out of changing from the incredible to the "X" HELP!!! Anyone know of anything that will support me keeping my incredible instead of switching to the X??

Thanks

I don't know anything about the Incredible but I had gotten the Droid and exchanged within my 30 days for the X.  I absolutely LOVE my Droid X!!!    The screen size alone is awesome!  Great response and I have had basically ZERO issues with my Droid X.  Did I mention that I LOVE my Droid X?????  :smileyvery-happy:

HAHAHAHA.... Your not helping me... I know all about the screen the flexability. I just HATE that I waited so long for this phone to be One Up'ed... Hmmm Maybe I will switch. Was it a hard process?

Not at all... paid the restocking fee and the difference in the price and had it the next day... they transferred my numbers over and I was on my way and I haven't looked back.  of course ya have to wait for the rebate to get your 100.00 off.  And when FROYO comes out in a month or whenever will have Flash and that will make the large screen even better!:manwink:

If you love your Incredible stick with it.  As it stands your looking at a 1-2week wait to exchange your phone anyways.  Don't get me wrong tho, the Droid X is awesome.  But it does have it's cons, which if you "LOVE" your Incredible, you may not be able to get over in the Droid X.

i'd ask this....do you really need an hdmi output? and is the screen on your inc too small? the X looks great to me but i just don't have a need for an hdmi and i prefer the smaller size of the inc. and like someone above mentioned...the inc is supposed to suport hd video and hot spot after the upgrade. so......do you want a BIGGER device? and like they already mentioned.....in a few months there will be something else out there that's better than either of these. this summer has been one of device wars. inc, evo, ip4, and now the x. it doesn't matter what or when you get a device.....it's outdone in months (if not weeks).

Much as I love my X and skipped over the Incredible for it, the Incredible is still an awesome phone. I would love Sense UI on my X as I prefer it to Motoblur even this toned down version. But I;'m getting used to Blur and loving the phone. Don't get jealous, they're both great n since you have your hands on one feel lucky as so many people are **bleep** there's so long a wait for the X and Incredible. Plus Froyo will hit Incredible first then you'll have 720p HD recording and Mobile Hotspot like the X. If you really wanna switch over go but I think if you love your incredible stick with it, the X hype will die down n make you less jealous. Not to mention the fact that you're gonna get one-uped anyway, see how fast they're making better phones right now? You can't win trying to stay on the bleeding edge, so sit near the lead with your awesome phone :smileyvery-happy:

Yes, but you also seem to have a broken cap locks key.

What happens if they switch from the Incredible, which they love, to the Droid X and it's just a summer affair?  If you love the incredible stick with it till something comes out that will blow both of these phones out of the water.

Now if you are having issues with your Incredible or are unhappy with it, that's another story.

I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone that wrote in... :smileyvery-happy: YEAH!!! That was just what  I needed a good kick in the pants to make me realize just how happy I really am with my phone. To be honest I just love the thing.  Runs smooth, no glitches and it absolutely has to be the fastest working piece of machinery I've ever seen. Even the executives in my office that have seen my incredible have switched from the Droid to the incredible because of all it's features. I'm keeping the dang thang. OK folks I'm in it for the long hall... Stay in touch and I'll do the same...

Well, I can relate to wanting the newest/best and and there has sure been hype with the Droid X.  I had an incredible for 29 days, then sent it back because I kept hitting the call end button with my cheek/chin and losing calls.  I decided that as much as I liked the phone, what I mainly have it for is a phone, with texting next, and the rest of the apps and features as a bonus and for fun.  So I sent it back, went back to my old blackberry curve (ugh, it was slow after an android) and waited for the X.  I was hoping that the X wouldnt give me the same issue.

Anyway, now several days into the X, I am finding that I don't hang up the calls.  Other than that I have noticed that the speed and convenience of use is pretty much the same.  I liked the size of the Incredible better, but my X battery lasts longer.  I'd say, in my experience, other than that for the average user, they are pretty much the same phones.  I do love the Swype with the X.

If you are happy with the phone, it's not like there is huge difference.   On the positive side, there's not really a bad decision no matter which way you choose. :smileyhappy:

I did a one year contract though...who knows what  cool new phone will come out six months from now.:smileyvery-happy
