Hi mike,

Froyo 2.2 Android won't be released likely for a few weeks still.

Wait...you aren't asking about 2.2 update?

Enough jokes...Roadrunner is simple POP3 correct? So yes, Droid X will work with your account.

↓ I ripped this from phandroid forum for you.  ↓

Try these settings:

Roadrunner

incoming mail server: pop-server.yourstate.rr.com
Security type = none
Server port 110

outgoing mail server: smtp-server.yourstate.rr.com
login required = no
security type = None

Server port 587
Hope that helps you.

Yes it will. I have Road Runner as one of my Emails. The previous answer gives you the correct settings to use.

My settings similar to djtonic except :

outgoing server is smtp-server.roadrunner.com

Port: 25

username and password sign in

no secure connection or verify certificate

The settings should be the same at your puter settings.

The reason I am roadrunner instead of state.rr.com is because we migrated to roadrunner from Adelphia when it went bust and TW took it.  Best thing that ever happened up here in the Great North Woods of NH.

A little further info, I have roadrunner, hotmail and two gmail addresses and all work perfectly.  The X is an awesome device.

It should be able to work with all the accounts you listed but you have to be sure you have outgoing information correct because sending email can be a issue at times.

My Road Runner mail is spotty.

I get some, but surely not all of it.

I have manually loaded the account a dozen times.

Used K-9 mail app too.

Nothing seems to work to give me complete access.

That's a roadrunner deal.  They have timed lockouts for clients.  So if you used on client you are locked out from other clients for I believe 15 minutes.  Also you have to be on their network to send emails through their smtp server.
