My sister in law has been sending pictures of my niece and nephew andi want to save them to a gallery, but it's not giving me the option to save them. When i got to the picture and press menu NOTHING happens. Is there a way to save them at all. I could on my Incredible... kinda wishing i had stayed with that model now.

Can you press and hold on the picture in the text message to have a menu appear? Are you pressing the menu key while it is in the text view, or are you pressing on the picture to view it full screen and THEN pressing the menu button?
I press on pic, then options come up for view, save, or share picture, using the native app. But since Handcent, there are more options available, when pressing on pic.
Getting used to a new phone can take some time.

This wonderful feature isn't a thing of the past because you can also send the pictures from your new device.
You can email them & send them to Pix Place if you'd like.
Forward the pictures to the following number: 438749 (Get Pix) and you will be able to log in to the online album to view them there.

You can use the SMS Backup+. I use it to email my SMS and MMS to my gmail. It says it's automatic, but I've had to do manual. But still, it gets everything.
