ICONS: HOW TO RENAME ?

Can one rename a icon? An example, My "One Bus Away", and my "Text Messaging" icons on my home screen don't display the whole name of the app. Not enough room. Like on my texting icon it say "Text Mess" and that's it. And my "One Bus Away" icon says "OneBusAw" Just like that.

 

I would like to change "TextMess" to "TEXTS" and "OneBusA" to "ONE BUS", or, "ONE BUS

                                                                                                                          AWAY"

 

Just as it's displayed in this post.

 

So,can it be done?

Sorry, as far as I know, you can not rename apps icons.

Download BetterCuts from the market or http://www.appbrain.com/app/bettercut/com.betterandroid.bettercut, it allows you to make custom icons
