My droid x updated itseld (took 3 hours....) and mostly runs ok.
But for the change in placement of the icons on the bottom of the screen.
Used to be Recents Calls/Dialer on left and Contacts to far left and apps in the middle.
My fingers are used to that and very comfortable with it.
Now the Recent/Dialer is on the left, then comes the Contacts (oh wait it's the same as Recent/Dialer now), then texts, then Apps or recent apps or downloaded apps.
Recent does not stay recent - it seems to key off the Contacts last state. .......
I can deal with the action of the buttons with the appropriate Anglo-Saxon verb but the location is stretching my vocabulary.
Can they be moved back to their right places?
Along in the same vein how about the colours, and so on? Any themes that mimics the old Froyo set up?
If you long-press any of the icons you can change them to the APP that you wish to launch -- except for the far-right APP DRAWER one. There are several APPs available in market that will change your "experience" with the (blur) Screen and give you a LOT more options than the stock/default Blur -- including Themes, etc. Take a look at ADW and Launcher Pro Plus. Probably other ones as well that others will recommend. But basically, the stock BLUR launcher & themes is seriously lacking. Good luck
