Like I said in another thread.....The key is to have patience. You get a chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it. The update will come sooner or later.

I would suggest to be patient. the update is giving a lot of people problems and turning the "incredible" to a piece of crap. Many people already reporting problems. Its been nothing but a headache since I did the update
Still nothing here, have seen some info about manual upgrade but I am a little leary about that. I am trying to wait patiently but would love to get some idea of when the update will come.

When mine updated yesterday, mine ran a bit 'clunky'. I simply pulled the battery, replaced powered up and never a problem sense. And I was on it ALOT last night as many people wanted to see it compared to an iPhone another had sitting next to me.
Hardly scientific, but aside for the iPhone owner, all liked the Incredible better.

In Elk Grove CA, I recieved mine but it would error out when rebooting. I wiped my handheld and now am waiting again for a notification for upgrade...

Still waiting here in Franklin TN.....I need the 720p video....really wanted to get the X for the 720p video and screen size but got tired of waiting for that so I went with the Incredible in hopes that the video would get a software upgrade to 720p....it did and now I want it...I do love my Incredible, my iPhone was no where near as cool as this!

For all those with problems... do a factory/hard reset. Word is that solves MOST problems.

It came out in late August and was sent to devices into October. You can check your version or look in your apps for Flashlight. If Flashlight is there, you have Froyo.
Still no Froyo for me or the one I thought that was going to add a VZW App store app.
Today is 12.16.10 and I have not received the OTA or any other update for froyo.
You should have received the update in October. Check your phones to see if you are running the most up-to-date version. Or, as budone wrote above, see if you have the flashlight app that uses your LED light on the back of your DInc. If you don't have Froyo yet, take it in to a store or call customer service.
