Ok I could not wait any longer I installed the update zip file installed in about ten minutes. I have no problems so far seems to be running faster and smooth. The 10.1 flash IS working good internet loads faster. I have to still check out the other features but everything seems fine for now I don't see any issues I have been reading about.

For all those with problems... do a factory/hard reset.  Word is that solves MOST problems.

I have already backed everything up to my sd card.  I plan to reset after update.

Well it could be quite a while possibly up to a month, so by the 27th of Sept we may all have it. Maybe

I say that because a droid 1 user just got their 2.2 OTA update on Sept 3rd, they started rolling that out the beginnng of August for that phone. So I guess this can take up to a month to roll out. for the INC.  Bummer I know.

I side loaded my Froyo (I am in Elk Grove CA and it failed the first time and never recieved another notification) and am loving my Froyo now

Still no Froyo for me or the one I thought that was going to add a VZW App store app.

Today is 12.16.10 and I have not received the OTA or any other update for froyo.

You should have received the update in October. Check your phones to see if you are running the most up-to-date version. Or, as budone wrote above, see if you have the flashlight app that uses your LED light on the back of your DInc. If you don't have Froyo yet, take it in to a store or call customer service.
