I have my Droid from beginning.. one of the first.. and if it wasn't for the fact that I can not depend on receiving phone calls and text messages I would love it. I have been on phone with Verizon numerous times.. have even replaced the phone itself but it happened again yesterday. Both my daughter and my husband (and who knows who else) were trying to call me all day. My phone was on, and fully charged. I NEVER RECEIVED ONE CALL OR TEXT FROM THEM AND NO MISSED CALL!!! the fact that there is not even a missed call notice means call went where?? not to my phone??
I think I am going to get rid of Droid and go back to old phone without the apps etc. so I know I am receiving phone calls. I'll get a tablet for email and internet on the go... obviously Verizon can't handle both.
Have you tried *228 #1 and then #2 to reprogram and then update roaming? Also by chance are you using a Verizon Network Extender because I had a simular issue using mine.
