I have had this phone for only 2 months now and after removing several unused apps from the device it froze, so I removed the battery and tried to turn it back on. All it does is go through the booting loop and gets stuck at the droid red eye. Is this fixable or am I screwed???

I have already done that. Not exactly the option most people want considering you lose all information. Time consuming and annoying to say the least.

I know but there isn't many solutions for a bootloop situation, HTC doesn't have a clear cache option without voiding warrenty and Safe Mode only works if you can get past the boot logo..
You can try pulling battery during booting up and then leave it out for a few minutes and then place battery back in and power up, this works sometimes..
Also you can pull battery and with battery out press power button for 10 seconds and then put battery back in and power up, this forces a boot sometimes.

uuggghhhh I got mine in august and this happened to me last night, I installed and then immediately uninstalled Pandora for data purposes and then it just had a nervous breakdown! Finally today I can receive inbound calls and texts and my alarm works but I can't go to the home screen so I can't make calls, use apps, or do anything- only my drop down menu is available so all I have is texting- ive removed the battery and tried all the power button and volume at the same time crap- have you figured this out? SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!

Many thanks to everyone's input for fixing this issue. If your device is stuck in a boot loop, it is best to perform an Alternate Master Reset. This link has all of the steps to complete a factory reset using the hardware keys instead of the touch screen if you device can't boot up. This does erase all of the device information (except for your SD card).
If you are having difficulty completing the steps or find that the steps do not work for you, please call the warranty center at 866-406-5154 or send me a PM, and I will reach out to you as soon as I can. The next step would be looking at replacement options.
Thanks for posting! Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
