Incredible 2 won't start

My phone was working fine until this evening. When I went to check my email, the screen went first to the red eye, where it stayed for a long time, then the phone started the reboot cycle and just kept repeating that.  I couldn't shut it off normally, so I pulled the battery.  Now it won't start at all.  The battery had plenty of power, and I also tried a spare battery that was fully charged, so that is not the problem.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Semasten, I know it would be frustrating for your phone to suddenly not turn on. I'm hoping this issue has been resolved by now, but if not, then the device may need to be replaced. If charging the phone or removing the battery don't resolve, then a warranty replacement would be the next step.
