Incredible, D2, or X?

I currently have the Eris and may be the only one in the world who actually likes it. Anyway, I have a line eligible for upgrade and can't resist the chance to get a new toy. Any advice on the best droid to get? I like HTC sense and I heard it's better than motoblur, but other than that I'm quite undecided. I'm going to post this in the incredible forum as well.

You do know you could save yourself the double post and posted in the general Android area and you could get a opion view from users, but with that said I have to say I tried the Incredible and Droid X (Havent used a Droid 2 but got to play with it on several displays) and I can say I am happy with my decision to go with they Droid X, the other devices where nice but in my opinion the Droid X was the winner. I have vision issues so the Incredible screen size didnt work and same with Droid 2, I also read multiple reviews that came to the same conclusion about the Droid to being just a clone of one with some modifications (Nothing made it stand out)

Now as for the views of Sense and MotoBlur, I loaded Launcher Pro and Beautiful Widgets almost instanly so I cant make a opion on MotoBlur, I did miss the Sense UI from my Windows Mobile device but after loading the apps above I havent missed it at all..

I think that you should get the new Droid X. The device has a full touch screen phone to which something you are used to. Plus you like your Eris. You'll most likely love the Droid X. Sounds to me like Droid X will fit you better.

The incredible in my opinion has the less glitches. That moto blur really messes things up. My droid x turns off on its own. The droid 2 also has motoblur, its built into the system and i do not like it.

The biggest thing I see with the Droid X or Droid 2 over the HTC Incredible is that Motorola stands behind their products. HTC is famous for make it and forget about it. I'm sure you have noticed this with your Eris which had a 3-4 month service life before being discontinued.

Verizon is getting the Samsung Fascinate (Galaxy S). I think the release date is September sometime.

I think this is Beautiful widgets (But this is the old build and has been modified) or maybe Fancy Widgets (That have been removed from market), but if its Beautiful Widgets, you can get it on market, then after install..

1. Hold on screen

2. Select Widget

3. Select Beautiful Home

I would probably have to say Droid X. I have the HTC Incredible and the main complaint I have is the signal quality. I live in an area where reception isn't the best and I have trouble with calls bc I only get 0-1 bars of 3G. The phone on display in stores next to the Droid X shoes 4 bars to the Incredible's 2 bars. I hardly ever see full bars with the Incredible. The other complaint is poor battery performance. These are the reasons I recommend goin with the Droid X. The Droid X has many of the same features and performance and then some. As far as the D2 I'd say it hardly compares to the other 2. On a last note though, if you live in an area with great coverage such as a large city then I'd say the Incredible can be just fine. Then to take care of the battery issue you can purchase the extended battery with bigger battery back cover. Hope this helps.
