Bought a Jabra Bluetooth speakerphone for use in the car with my DInc. It is supposed to be able to access the phonebook on the Inc and announce incoming calls by name. If it can't access the phonebook it will announce only the phone number. Well, it does announce only the phone number and not the callers's name from the phonebook. Just one more problem with the Inc's bluetooth stack.
Just joined the forum as I just purchased the Jabra Cruiser from Verizon. I was able to get the bluetooth device to announce the number nut needed to turn off sound on the droid. Is this the only way to make this work? Would really like if the bluetooth could announce the name of the caller as I don't memorize over 300 contact phone numbers...
