Incredible Won't Connect To Wi-Fi

Just got the Droid Incredible yesterday and I haven't yet been able to successfully connect to a Wi-Fi access point.  I have a SonicWall at home (open) and it did show that it recieved an IP but I couldn't use any apps or get anything online.

Now this morning, I get to work and my network is WPA2 secured (Cisco AP's) and it won't connect to those either.  I then took an old Netgear AP and have put it in to WPA, WEP and Open and it won't get an ip from them.  I've tried my laptop and it connects right up to the same ap in each of those modes.  I even set the AP in "G-Only" mode, and it still was "unsuccessful".

Does the Droid Incredible only support a specific "flavor", or better yet, is there somewhere that I can see the log of what exactly is happening when it's authenticating.

Thanks!

Once you turn on WiFi on the phone have you gone into Network notification and set up your logons and passwords for the routers?

If left on an open network, it should get right on. Make sure there is no MAC address blocks on the devices to allow only certain devices to connect. There is not non standard b/g/n network. I'm not positive it works on N or not. One place said yes, another said no. What does the side of the box say? If you reset a router(personal one) and then make sure it is open and no security and it still doesn't connect I would start from there. I wouldn't be able to recommend much, I have to dee what the device is doing with my eyes. You can download wifi analyzer to see if your wifi is finding anything and what there connection levels are and such. No logs that I am aware of though.

I had the exact same problem.  You need to take the battery out of the phone. Wait for 10 seconds for a soft reset and then turn the power back on.  This worked for me.

(Taking the cover off is kind of tricky - there is a small notch at the bottom of the phone, stick your nail in and then push up till it opens with a snap.  Don't worry, it does not break the cover. It is a snug fit)
