Can someone please explain in understandable terms what the "Open in background," and "Open pages in overview" options do, and what the advantages and disadvantages are to using/not using them? Thanks.
i'm not sure exactly, but i believe if the open in background is selcted, then when you put in a new address it opens a second page (instead of leaving the current site and going to the new one, you have both sites open on 2 different tabs). i think the open in overview formats the page to fit you screen (rather than just opening in in default format and reguiring you to scroll left and right to view the entire page from left to right). again, i'm not sure, but i think that's what they are for. still learning the browser.
and of course, the 208 page owner's manual does not address these options....lol.
