Waiting for my incredible to arrive, and was wondering if you can use the camera flash as a flashlight. My wife's BB 8320 has via app we downloaded. Thanks

i gotta believe one of the apps will work for the inc....but so far i have yet to find it!!!!

Hi. I understand that you want to use the camera flash as a flashlight. That is one of the few applications I use all the time. I did check the App Market and other Android application resources and it does seem like there is a Flashlight application. You can just do a basic search and you will see it.

It has been a few weeks since I looked, but all the apps I saw used the screen as the light source. But knowing how everything changes with Droid apps every day, if there isnt one now, there should be one soon.

All the ones I have found require rooting your phone. It is absolutely not worth trading your warranty for a flashlight app. Rather than having to pay $600 for a new phone if something goes wrong with it before you are eligable for an upgrade I would spend $1.50 to get a keychain flashlight which would be a bit more useful anyway.
