Incredible shipping

I was told by a 611 rep today that 5000 Incredibles are available to ship if you order it through them. Verizonwireless.com just pushed their ship date to 1 June, I guess Verizon has more than one bucket of phones and they wont cross lines. To me, as a customer who wants an Incredible, it seems that I should be able to order it online and have it ship form the same warehouse that the 5000 units are sitting in. Make me wonder if customer service is high on Verizon's priority list.

I read that Verizon customers whom are do for an upgrade or are already a Verizon customer are the first ones to get the Incredible device. That the other people wanting a phone without contract have to wait.

When I orded mine the both customer service and the website said the phone wouldn't ship until 05/07. I placed the order in the morning on 05/02. Much to my surprise I received an email with tracking # saying it had shipped. Fedex had already picked up the package. I received the phone on the 4th. New customer also.

Hmmm...I am wondering about this too. Is VZW currently shipping any Incredibles? I have been with them for about 11 or 12 years, was due for an upgrade, and ordered my Incredible online 5/10. I haven't received any notice that it has shipped, and when I check my order status it just says that my order has been processed and I should receive it within 2 to 3 days. I'm wondering if they aren't shipping any until 6/1 maybe??? I'm too excited to wait that long.

I am a new customer with Verizon and purchased my Incredible on 5/8. What I was told was that if the purchase was made prior to 5/8 they would be shipped no later than the 5/14. Purchases after 5/8 will be shipped no later than 5/26. And now I am assuming if you purchase an Incredible, it will be shipped no later than 6/1. I don't think it matters whether you are a new customer or not. I know someone who was a new customer and purchased it online on 4/29, received it on 5/3. We will see when I actually receive it.

Well, I ordered one today. The rep today told me that I was "mis-informed" by the two reps and one supervisor yesterday. (go figure). She said the 5000 units in the warehouse have already been sold and are awaiting shipping. Mine is supposed to ship 6/1, I’m not going to hold my breath. Maybe they want to dump of as many MOTO Droids as they can in the coming weeks. My "gotta have it now" little guy that sits on my shoulder sure was pushing toward the MOTO Droid, but I know I will be glad I was able to ignore him long enough to order the Incredible.

I had somewhat of the same situation. Went in on 5/8 inquiring about shipping dates. An assistant manager and a sales associate were misinformed and told me that they had them in the warehouse and it could be overnighted and recieved on Monday. I, of course, jumped on it and said Yes and ordered the Incredible and a case which they did not have in stock. I waited on Monday for Fedex with no luck. Called Verizon Tuesday and they stated they were misinformed and it would ship on 5/14. I asked them to verify that date and they came back saying since I purchased it on 5/8, it was to be shipped no later than 5/26. So here I am, waiting on my Incredible still. I have my case (it came in Yesterday) without a phone. =(

I am getting ready to order the incredible shortly. It says on the website will ship by June 1st. Dumb question but does that mean it ships from their warehouse to me? Or it's going to ship from HTC to verizon on the 1st?

Seems to me that communication is out the window and no one knows whats going on.
They should state on the website that they wont ship until "x" not give some tentative date...
I ordered mine in the 9th and I called and they dont have a clue whats going on which makes me so irritated.
I called the 611 # and they didnt even know I placed an order online. When I put my tracking number in it says will be shipped within 2-3 business days which is a falicy..best believe i will get a free month of service or data for this..

So... I purchased my Incredible 5/8 and looks like it is waiting at Fedex for me in the morning. (Missed the delivery today). My brother purchased his the same day I did and he just called to rub it in my face that he has his. Lol.

I'm pretty annoyed now. I had my renewal date pushed up on the 3rd and ordered the Incredible. I was told I'd get it by the 6th (thursday). On the 7th, with no phone, I called up Customer Service and then Sales and neither department could access information on my order; they could only tell that I had placed the order. I was told I'd be called back on the 7th about it but didn't get a call till the 9th saying that they didn't place my order for a **bleep** billing reason (not sure why it took them almost a week to let me know). They also told me that I had to place my order online so now I'm waiting till the 26th for it to ship.
I'm glad I'm not the only one though.
Are there no phones in the stores either??

For what it's worth, I ordered the Incredible in store on the 11th and it was shipped on the 12th with a delivery date of today. It seems like different stores have different pools of phones to ship, at least according to both the in store CSR and the corporate one. If you don't want to wait, maybe you can find a store that still has some allocated ones left in the WH?
