Sorry for the lame question but was looking at getting the Charge for my son. He will be doing some international travelling this year. Is it true, this phone cannot make phone calls from other countries to the US like Blackberry? Thanks!

The Charge is not a GSM world phone, it is LTE + CDMA. The LTE frequencies used don't work anywhere else, so you are restricted to CDMA roaming abroad. Verizon says this is supported in (parts of) 40 countries, see http://b2b.vzw.com/international/Roaming/rates_coverage.html Rates vary from 0.69 prt minute in Canada, Guam, PR, to $2.89 per minute in Peru, Yeman and others
If he is elsewhere, the phone will not work for cellular calls. If he is in a Wifi hotspot, he could use it for data and to make Skype calls.....
