When I hook up the DX to the USB port on the computer and view files there is one called install  moto connect. Is this a mandatory thing . I was trying to load a wherigo game cartridge to my phone and the drag and drop method did,'t work said there wasn't enough space. Is this connect program necessary to tranfer file between the computer and the phone.

Thanks

No it isnt a required application to be installed but I concider it as Nagware.. :smileyvery-happy: and I tried to point out this was poorly setup, are you using the Mass Storage option, if so are you tring to copy it to the virtual drive that gets created on your system or the storage drive that the phone creates, the virtual drive that says MotoConnect has no true reason to be there but you cant remove it, make sure you are tring to copy information to the storage card only because the virtual drive isnt writable.

Hey Read Wildman's last post on this thread.  He had the same issue and resolved it.  The answer is at the bottom of his reply in bold.

Fumbled around with the DX then finally resorted to the manual. Figured out how to get the X into mass storage and all is well.  Opened up the file on my computer then successfully dragged and dropped into the Whereyougo folder.

Thanks for the quick response.

Now I'm at the mercy of the wherigo cartridge creator.
