I have a huge number of contacts, (80 MB) and when switching to the Samsung Droid Charge found they could not all be loaded with filling the internal memory which then stops incoming text messages and causes havoc with a number of other Droid applications.
What is the upper limit on Contacts Storage (Contacts Storage 2.2.1)?
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I'm no expert, but I thought I read 1000 somewhere. Hopefully someone else will chime in and give you a better answer if I'm wrong.

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with your contacts transferring to your phone.
With the Droid Charge the Phonebook capacity is dependent upon available memory. How are you trying to get the contacts transferred? Are you using BackUp Assistant or another method?

So depending on how much information you have saved on your phone or memory card it may not work. Does it give you an specific error messages when trying to transfer?
