The only problem i find with Verizon is that my friend in Australia is having trouble receiving my texts. When I was with tmobile I didn't have a problem. According to verizon website international texting is possible. But i don't think its to reliable.

Have you called Customer Service and asked them to authorize International calling/texting to your phone?
