Internet will not work, touchscreen will not work

I have had the Droid X since about a month after launch. The touchscreen freezes up a lot and will not let me do anything. I have to lock the phone, then unlock it and hope that it works. Also, tonight the internet just quit working. I have perfect 3G coverage and can not access anything on the internet. I called Verizon but of course the technical support doesn't work 24/7. Is anyone else having the same issues? If so, how did you solve them. Thanks

There are a few other topics like this going on ... internet/data seems to be out all over the country. No internet on phones or on aircards for computers for few hours now. :smileymad:

I just bought a new Droid this last night at about 6:30 and it was working awesome. I was thrilled and then all of a sudden around 12:00 it would not do anything internet based and said there was not an internet connection. I surely hope that this is a problem with the signal and not the phone becasue after shelling out $357 for the phone and a case and screen protectors and I use it like crazy for work, I will be not be happy if this is not fixed by the time work rolls around at 8:00

I thought that it may have something to do with Verizon introducing the new 4G, but who knows. They picked a great time to do this, when they do not have any technicians available to answer any of your questions.

I think vzw's Customer Service is pretty weak. I love VZW dont get me wrong think theyre the best carrier in america. but I work customer service for T-mobile and at least their Tech Care dept. is open 24/7.

I wonder if they're going to give a partial discount for the internet service due to this issue. No internet on my phone affects my work because I am not always by a computer, and it inhibits my mobility while working.
