Is TEC insurance from Verizon worth it on the Samsung Droid Charge?

Is TEC insurance from Verizon worth it on the Samsung Droid Charge?

Or are there alternative insurance that i can buy?  The only other one I've

found is SquarTrade, but they don't cover lost phones.

I just checked the Asurion website to get details on my plan. It is $6.99 a month, with a $99 deductible. Right now, it seems worth it to me..but then I'm a klutz!

Thanks WCMack, for the information. I would also like to mention to SandraW that our equipment insurance does include coverage if your phone is lost, unlike what is mentioned in your posting. The deductible is indeed $99.00, which is much less than the cost of the device at the full retail cost.  

Please note that you are able to add equipment insurance within 14 days of the phone's activation date.
