Is Tomorrow the big day?

So I have read and seen many rumors that the incredible will receive the froyo update tomorrow, august 18th.  It can even be read on a PC world article.  I've only had my incredible for a little over a week, I can't imagine it being better than it already is.  So will I wake up with a super incredible tomorrow?

Do not hold your breath?

EVERY article written is siting Mashable's source.  This is 1 rumor going crazy!!

Even if it were to com out tomorrow, you may have to wait a week to get it.  They roll it out small amounts at a time.

See you next week for the next rumor!

Yeah they usually do like 200,000 at a time.  The way the Incredible was shipping out if you have one you may not have to wait long at all.

Kidding.   It is the second highest selling Droid phone of all time.

My brother has the Motorola Droid with Verizon and he received his update yesterday  so I think ours for the HTC Droid should be coming soon. :smileyhappy:

Motorola Droid runs on a vanilla Android.  Incredible has Sense.  There is no comparison between the 2.

The Evo, however, shares the same UI as the Incredible.  They have already rolled out that version so I'm assuming that the Inc version is the same or similar.  I don't think we have to wait much longer.  Besides, I'm sure they want to get this out in a timely fashion and well within the lifecycle of the product.  Before you know it, we'll all be moving onto the Inc 2 running Gingerbread...  :smileywink:

I called Verizon a few hours ago and they have stopped pushing out froyo OTA for unknown reasons. I suspect it has to do with some folks getting a brick after update. Verizon support had no information other than it was stopped. I'll continue to wait patiently for froyo, HTC sense is the killer of speedy updates but I suppose its worth it.
