Is there a way to set a specific sound for an incoming text from a contact? I don't want to change the sound for all texts, I want a different sound for one contact.

Having options that fit the experience we want is great. I don't show the option for a specific contact notifyer. However, you may look in the play store for a messaging application that will offer that option. That's the beauty of android.
