I tried that but it isn't in the list.  That is my question.  How do I get it to be there?

Have you saved it to you phone yet?

Did you get a text message with the ringtone attached?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

When you downloaded the ringtone, if the attachment was saved to your phone when your received it in a message then going through the steps that has been provided will allow you to set the ringtone.

All of your instructions sound reasonable, except I can't get the save audio option to pop up when touching an holding the black space around the message . . .

I purchased 2 ringtones on the Verizon website, which were sent to my Droid 2 via text.  However, I can't figure out how to save and assign them to the contact.  Can you help me?  Thanks
