Keyboard/typing error

When I try amd use my qwerty or my touch screen on my Droid, I keep getting sent to my Internet, or my calendar and cannot send texts, gmail, or Facebook. Started today. Phone is 1 year old.

When the keyboard freezes, acts funny, etc. go to:

Menu > Manage apps > All > Multi-Touch keyboard > Clear data [and clear Cache if it's not 0]

Others have found that turning off  "Next word prediction" in the Multi-Touch keyboard settings also seems to help prevent keyboard freezes.

Menu > Settings > Language & Keyboard > Multi-Touch keyboard > Next word prediction

Great post and very helpful solution.

The combo of clearing cache, autofills, and removing all quick launches seems to have done the trick.
