I bet I will, I bought this phone because I was expecting this update, and I still haven't received it. Verizon said by late summer, late summer will be over and I still havent received it, so that is false advertisement. Verizon will not let me out of my contract, so I phoned a lawyer who said if i don't receive it by tomorrow, I do have a leg to stand on.

Okay....Take a deep breath and try to get control of yourself. That's what I tell my 4 year old son to do when he becomes all worked up about something. Blowing hot air will not solve anything. Even if you sued, do you really think you would win anything??? Highly doubtful.

Ok if you say so, do you know how many companies get sued for false advertising! Do some research before you comment. If I bought this phone because I was told if would do certain things, and then when I received it, it wasnt as advertised then yes I have a claim. But truthfully I am just blowing smoke like you said, I saw all of the other rants on here and so i thought I should start another one. Right now I am running 2.2 , [Edited to comply with Terms of Service] running that bigdxtheme, so the update is not a big deal, so all of you get your panties outta bunch.

Go ahead and sue them, kid. Two years later you'll be at the same place you would be had you chilled out. And your "lawyer", based on that "leg" you have to stand on, will be laughing all the way to the bank.

Gerio you must work for them because you ride them like they pay your bills.

I ride a 99 Ford pick-up. Ask the likes of the MS State Fair Commission, Harper-Morgan-Smith Rodeos, and the MS Symphony Orchestra about my employment situation, if you like.
Gee, we are the touchy one today, aren't we. I didn't disagree with your premise. I simply disagreed with your assertion that you will profit from such a lawsuit. And if your lawyer can read, he needs to look over Verizon's User agreement. They are pretty sharp when it comes to covering their butts, for better or worse for the customers.
And may I ask, what motivated you to come and shout your intentions to the masses? Didn't the lawyer advise you to not speak of your intentions before you move forward with your lawsuit? I'd look for another lawyer.
Oh, well, it was fun while it lasted (long sigh, back to work)....

LOL there goes your lawsuit! You've just admitted to violating your terms of service and voiding your devices warranty.
Oh yeah...and, how do you know that the update isn't available and ready for your phone? With that rom installed your phone will NOT notify you of the update and you will not be able to upgrade to the signed OTA regardless.
