I am making the switch from LG Vortex to Droid X mainly for a larger screen and other upgrades I think would be useful. Since the LG Vortex is an Android, will I have any trouble activating my new Droid X and transferring all my pictures/contacts/apps over?
Anything I should be aware of before attempting the transfer? And if I have trouble will my local store help me even though I got the phone online or will I have to call customer service?
Also, I have an older bluetooth that works well with my Vortex, any chance it will work with the Droid X or will I have to get a new one? Didn't know if Droid X had a special model I have to use.
Thanks for any help!

As far as the bluetooth, you should be good.
Your contacts should transfer if they are added to your gmail address book, or there are a number of backup apps that will work for your contacts and pictures.
As for your apps, lot of apps are dependent on the Android OS version, so unfortunately some will not transfer. There are even some that work on other phones, but are not authored to work correctly on the Droid X. You should be able to check the Apps info to see if it is compatible with the droid X.
If you purchased your phone online the store should help you with little problem. However, if you purchased it from a 3rd party like BestBuy etc, you may want to talk to them first.
