Ever since I got the 2.2 update, my Droid has been running very slow. Examples when I unlocked my screen its takes about 3-4sec to load up my icons. When I slide open my keyboard same thing happend and when I close it up, takes about few more seconds to load up all my icons. I hard reset the phone, it was running good, but once all my Apps was replaced the same problems occurs.
Please tell me i'm the the only one with this ptoblem!
I had tried ADW, moved all the apps that I can move to my SD card, still running slow.
One of my coworker also have the Droid, and he's not having this problem. Maybe I just have to hit my Veriozn store and get me a new Droid.
I've posted about this multiple times already, but I've pretty much learned to live with it since it only happens sparingly now. And yes, I do have at least 2 co-workers with Droids that don't have the same lag issues I'm having but I think I can deduce a possible cause.
How populated are your homescreens? How much widgets are there?
I noticed that my lag declined after I took out a number of widgets (especially the ones that need to constantly update) and it definitely decreased the lag. I still have it, but my homescreens are stuffed to the brim, so I can understand why. To me, this is a minor thing now, so it doesn't bother me as much as it did before.
