I am trying to find a way to keep my Droid X in Landscape view.. RIght now, the only time it swiches is when I am writing a text or reading a text. WHen I am looking at the home screen or scrolling the all of the apps, the only view I have is portrait. Is there a way to make the Droid always display in landscape view?

unfortunately you can't change views on home screen or in app drawer with the default home launcher. If you wan't that option, use an alternate launcher from the market. I use(d) Launcher pro and aHome. I prefer Launcher Pro. There is a topic about launcher pro right here on the boards.
On the original Droid when you slid the keyboard the screen would change to landscape but that option isn't available on the X.
