Latest Update Issues

I received the latest update yesterday, and since that time, I'm seeing frequent "Loading" messages, where the phone simply stops responding while The "Loading" message displays. The phone also seems to run slower. My phone was fine until the update. Is there a way to backout this update? Thanks

Unfortunately there is not a way to backout your update for your HTC Droid Incredible. I would suggest to perform a soft reset by removing the battery while your device is powered on, wait about 30 seconds then re-install your battery and power up your device.

I am getting the same problems.  I have pulled the battery a couple of times.  I get the load screen and then it seems as if my phone does a "soft reset".  All of the HTC widgets have to reload and it acts as if i had just powered it off and then back on.  Really annoying.

I did my update today and it completly wiped out my phone and kept rebooting for 3 hours. I called and spoke to a tech for about 45 minutes and after doing a reset it worked for 10 minutes and started up with the rebooting again. I went into verizon and the tech told me I had a bug in my phone. My phone worked fine before that update and now I have to wait for a used phone in the mail. I only had the phone for 5 months! Now I get a used one.

I have the same problem. The day after I updated my Incredible, the HTC symbol kept popping up followed by the "Loading" box. It seems to be happening more and more now. Every time I open a text message it does this same routine. Please let me know if you find a fix.

You should consider a hard reset and start over with a clean slate (if you haven't already). Then add your apps back into the phone and see if it continues to operate normally. I wouldn't count on a fix specific to your issue unless the problems are so frequent they are forced to do so. From what I understand, there are still some issues dating back to the Froyo update with the 3G antenna not functioning properly on some DIncs.
