Umm yeah, 2.1 = Eclair -not Flan.
There are so many rumors floating around right now about what the Motorola Droid "2.1 update will be, or include"; it's getting pretty laughable at this point.
Verizon continues to delay the release. Don't expect it any time soon. I'm curious if verizon is enjoying the fact that Motorola is shouldering the majority of the blame. When, in fact, Verizon continues to reject every 2.1 OS submitted for the Droid.
