Since MarquiaF_VZW said this is not a know issue yet I am putting this back out again as I am on vacation and just had to pull my battery becuase I lost my 3g and phone ... I'm just glad this wasn't an issue when I was on my travel part when I needed to use my phone.
Yes i did a factory reset before I insalled GB and I also did a factory reset on Saturday to try and clear up some of the issues also.

Since this seems to be happening to a number of devices across the forum I am starting to think this issue is more of a network issue than a device, Droid X, X2, Thunderbolt and Charge has had lost of connections issues and this is starting to be more than a coincidence. I think the device is and upgrades are being blamed for another issue that isn't being considered..... The Network may be the common factor.

Wildman this could be possibly the changes with the Towers From Alltel , At&t an Verizon as they're getting closer to to wraping
up who Gets what an some tower that Alltel or Verizon had might just be moving to At&t in accordance with Fcc. An was told not
to long ago that the Tecks that were doing Double or tripple Duty for Alltel , At&t an Verizon would be Full Verizon Tecks wonce
this Merger was finished .

This is a possibility Dinc also it could be related to the 4G conversion has not been completed as well because Verizon is updating large amount of towers to add 4G in more areas, the reports has claimed that the plan is to have a large amount of areas on line by end of year. I actually have had 4G show on my device a few times recently which looks like KC may be seeing 4G goodness soon... Hopefully

Meshe, thank you for posting this information again. The original post has not been closed, and it is best to comment on already open posts if you are having the same issue. Duplicate posts with the same people commenting does not necessarily mean everyone with the Droid X on Gingerbread is having the issue.
Since your original post we have had more people call in or visit corporate stores with this issue and have escalated this to Motorola and our product team. A software fix is being worked, but no date on the resolution.
