Losing all my info.

Question

Twice now since I have had my htc incredible,when I turned it on,everything was wiped out,all my contacts,all my apps I added,pics. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to retrieve the lost info and also is there a way to avoid this from happening.

If you use Backup Assistant, your contacts are good there. Also, Google should save your contacts and apps in your account. Or you could save your apps on your SD card, that's what I do. As far as pictures, look in the market for a backup app, or you could keep them on your online Verizon album. There are also multiple apps that backup your text messages if you so desire.
