MAJOR notification issues with droid 2

OK, im not the most articulate typer so please dont judge me lol but can someone please explain to me why my emails are always delayed coming to my droid 2 i have AOL. Like I have to manually refresh the little thingy at the top to get the new ones to come in. They only automatically do it sometimes if I'm lucky and when I power cycle the phone, which is really annoying. I have the data push option selected so they should be coming str8 there. Any tips or tricks on getting these emails would be much appreciated.

ALSO Why does the notifications on the facebook App only work sometimes? im getting really tired of missing all of my comments and etc. Like I have to check it manually to see my notifications my little sound will only go off if my phone is in a good mood LOL. My BB used to do it like seamlessly.

And speaking of facebook, is there going to be a fix for the accounts on droid 2 b/c I don't want all of those facebook contacts on my phone, but I want to add my facebook account via the my accounts thingy, but everytime I do that I get like a million new contacts b/c I have like 1000 facebook friends. Why is it doing that and what is VZW doing to fix the problem, that's really my main peeve with the droid 2, like what were the devs thinking?!?!  Like we should be able to add the account without our phonebook being bombarded with people were never going to call. It makes it harder to search and god forbid you have two friends with the same first name b/c the phone automatically links them and then you don't know which one your texting, which can make for really awkward conversations, let me tell you! :smileyhappy: other than these little annoyances, I really love this phone but these problems NEED TO BE FIXED ASAP!
