After the upgrade to my HTC phone last night Nov 14, 2011 I lost the Blue tooth, connection to My 2012 Chevy, One of my email accounts will not connect under SSL, my wife lost here email as well. 4.06 is bad.
And if that dont work a hard reset may be needed.... Updates keep settings from old OS and sometimes the information isnt compatible with update and this is why I backup and wipe before any major update to play it safe.
Updated this morning. SWYPE no longer works. Any suggestions?
Hello everyone. There were two Gingerbread updates being pushed out. The first was 4.06, which we have seen some bugs in, the second is the updated version 4.08. This update is still being pushed out and if you have not received it yet, you will be pushed the update. Check for updates first by going to Settings>About phone. If you receive an error about low space, try moving as many applications as you can to your SD card, deleting ones you don't use, clearing emails from the trash and clearing cache from applications.
Yeah, my husband lost all of the photos that he has taken since he received that phone. We just had a baby back in May and we have lost all the photos he took from that special day and time of our lives. Sucks so bad.
For all those on 4.06, before doing anything drastic, just try to get the 4.08 update. That resolves a lot of issues the 4.06 came with. Search this forum, there are ways to force the 4.08 update to show up on your phones.
