Managing my music files

Hey, I just got a 16G SD chip and I have put all the music I want on that.

Now, I want to remove some of the music from the Incredible's internal storage.

How would I do that?

Thanks.

yes, that nag screen of VZW is a pain and just one of the bloatware junk that VZW shoves down our thoats. when you hool your phone up to the computer see if there is a notification at the top of the phone;s screen and pull it down and there you might see options to sync your phone or use it as a mass storage device. tap the mass storage device and then the computer should see it that way and you can go from there.

when i hook up my Incredible to the computer via USB and go into MY Computer i can see both the sd card and the internal phone memory. if i open the internal memory i see folders and one of them is music. i can then delete all of the music in the folder or copy them to a folder on my computer or copy them to the sd card.

I hope this helps.

Thank you very much for the comment, Martygene.

For some strange reason can't do that.  I see "removable drives" G and H. But I cannot access any of the folders on those drives.

BTW, when I plug my Droid Incredible into my laptop, the laptop goes to a screen encouraging me to sign up for Verizon Media Center. Which is useless. I've installed and uninstalled that program.

I agree about the "bloatware."   I neither want nor need most of the stuff Verizon wants to cram down our throats. Especially as the "Media Manager" software costs $36/year! I don't want it if it is free. But to pay for it?

I guess they will get away with whatever they can get away with.

Thank you so much for solving my problem.
