Marketplace no longer works error code

Since yesterday, whenever I try to go to the Marketplace and download an app or search for an app or read comments about an app I keep getting the message
Attention:
A network error has occurred. Retry , or cancel and return to the previous screen.
It is getting very frustrating to do anything with the phone.
I can still make calls, but that is not really why I hage the droid 2. I have a wireless network in my home that is working fine (I am on a laptop now typing this message)
anyone else have this happen?

Does it ever connect when you press Retry? It might have just timed out.
Otherwise you might want to try the following.
Go to Settings > Applications > Market >Clear data or Uninstall Updates. (depends on your phone)
Power cycle the phone then Open the market app. If you had to uninstall updates it should ask you to install the update again.
