Menu key not working?

I'm not sure why, but today the menu key on my droid just stopped functioning. The home, back, and search key all work. Just not the menu key. Does anyone know if these keys can be individually shut off or anything that can help me besides getting a new phone? I've only had it for two months...

Do a soft reset on the device. Here are the steps below.

Press and hold the Power button.
Touch Power off.
Press and hold the Power button to power on the device

My phone does the same thing (these are only the most recent issues)... Suddenly, with no known cause... Also the three soft keys (Dialer, App Drawer, Contacts) have moved and are vertically aligned on the right side of the screen... Opening the app drawer shows all app icons at half size, stacked with no spaces between and no lettering...

Customer care says they will send yet another refurb (7th in 8 months) and she "doesn't know if that one will work till it gets there..."

Don't look for resolution for such issues... I have been told multiple times that Verizon doesn't manufacture phones and therefore isn't concerned with "equipment" and that as long as there is "good signal", they have done their job... A supervisor told me maybe I should try sprint if I didn't like the lack of customer service...
