It seems like it wont let me do it, it says i need a data unlimited plan of 29.99 or higher which i have
You have to call VZ and get it set up. It is not a feature you can add online. There are other data plans with hotspot, but they are all limited, not unlimited, so I called to add mine.
Are you meaning you had to add your Mobile Hotspot or just the app? I have the app on my phone and I didnt have to type anything in an I connected and it is letting me use it but if it will run up our bill is what Im wanting to know...lol

Mobile hotspot is such a sweet feature! I use it all of the time. Keep in mind, with our new Share Everything plans mobile hotspot is included at no additional cost!
Use your phone as a modem at any time and just pull from your shared data pool!

Good afternoon and thank you all for replying. If you have a 4G Smartphone with unlimited data you are able to add the Unlimited Mobile Hotspot for a $30 monthly subscription. UmFootball1989, were you able to add Unlimited Mobile Hotspot after all?
