Great news...I hope they push it out for Eris soon afterwards.
Happening as we speak...Androidforums has a few confirmed *sightings* already!
Update is available for download from DroidLife. Just installed it without any problems.
The update available on DroidLife - do you have to be rooted to install, or can you install through this regardless?
Just had my phone give notification that my 2.1 update was ready to download and install. So far, so good. The news/weather widget is a nice plus and thus far, I haven't seen any noticable slow down in anything (like I've seen reported elsewhere).
