Motorola Droid (A855) Screen Flickering

As the title states, my Motorola Droid decides to start randoming flickering today. I've talked to the people at Motorola and they were no help to me. They kept telling me to go send it off to Motorola, but the truth is, I've got a little ways to go until my contract expires, and my warrenty is expired. Is this from regular wear and tear? (ALSO: this is a "Like New" replacement that I got after breaking my other Droid) What should I do? Thanks

Greetings Community Members! Love to help clarify on the behavior of the Droid while charging. Do you keep the phone on while charging or is it off?

Does your Droid randomly pull up apps or click on things you don't want? If so factory reset your phone!!! That's what happened to me and I reset my phone, and vwala! Lol

I have the same problem, and I've tried factory resetting my phone three times now. The problem seems to consistently continue to worsen each time...my screen constantly presses random apps/options and other stuff. I can barely answer or make calls anymore! I'm about to throw my phone out the window!

Hello Loi,

I would be a bit frustrated as well if this was taking place on my device.  I can definitely go over all options you have to replace your device.  If you have done multiple factory resets(tested with out apps on device) and the phone has the most recent software we would want to look into replacement options at this point.  Do you know if the device is under warranty?  If so, we can jump straight into a replacement.  If there is no physical or water damage to the device an insurance claim would not be warranted.  The other two options would be a possible upgrade or purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) device.  You can view more information on both options by logging into your My Verizon account or you can PM me with your name and mobile number to further assist.  Thank you.
