That is correct. We are unable to provide release dates for any new devices, as it may set expectations that may not be met.

Motorola took the Bionic off the shelf. I too was interested in it and checked it on the Motorola site almost daily. Last time I looked, it wasn't there any more. I had heard that they did drop it for some odd reason.

I read that the Bionic was pulled because it was overheating from the duel processors with the 4g. Because of this, they decided to focus on the Driod X2 and Droid3. This may be correct or total **bleep**. But this is what I read.

Latest rumor is the release date is July 28. Any truth?
Odd, isn't it, the smartphone so many of us have been waiting months for will be released two weeks after VZW ended its unlimited data plan.

Purchased Bionic on Sept. 23rd. Very fast in 4G, Lots of good Apps. Had an issue today where the phone suddenly lost all bars and WI-FI. WI-FI froze with a "Turning On" message.
Had to remove the battery and re-power it up to correct. I hope that is not a recurring problem because it is an awesome phone.

Biggest piece of trash I have ever bought !!!!! A waste of 500 dollars !!! Phone keeps freezing up,shuts off for no reason, middle of a call or email then will shut off and then will not show email till next day. Went to Verizon store and received no help. I was told to buy a new phone. Two months old and Verizon sold me a phone that doesn't even work and I rely on my phone and emails for work that's why I came to Verizon and now its costing me because I can't even receive or reply to emails !!!!

actually my bionic seems to have none of those issues, would go into safe mode when shut off completely or when battery dies. Verizon sending out replacement to try for that issue, aside from that everything is fine. Seems to be some phones are sketchy and some are not. overall volume vs complaints would make it seem to be a good phone, read any of the forums apple include they all have bad apples so to speak.
