Motorola Droid Camera images have rainbow effect around everything

The camera images on my Droid all have basically a ranibow haze/arc around everything. The color is so bad that I cannot use it at all. There is no effects on, and I have pretty much checkwed all effects and even offloaded applications thinking perhaps it was a space issue, but nothing. What might be causing this?

That's really strange. It could be just a bad lens and might need to be replaced.

I know this is a simple; but have you checked out the lens for any grease or smudge spots. When I first got my droid the lens was pretty greasy. That could certainly affect the picture quality. Try to use a really soft cloth designed for lenses.

Hi. I am sorry you are having issues with Droid camera. I will be happy to look into this for you. LakeGeorgeNY is correct, this issue is strange and I also would suggest checking the lens.

How long has this been happening?

Do you still see the same thing if you record a video?

Did you download any type of photo/camera application in the app market?
